TNS Recognizes Medication Safety Week

Medication Safety Week is April 1st - 7th this year and Travel Nurse Solutions is pausing in our daily routines to recognize its importance.

Medication safety continues to be a major concern for all of us who provide patient care. Errors can occur even when we are careful. Sometimes the best way to prevent mistakes is to learn from the mistakes of others.

This link will take you to the Institute for Safe Medicine Practices. They do a quarterly report of medication safety problems with recommendations for how to prevent future errors. Nurses can receive FREE Continuing Education Units (CEU) for reviewing the articles and completing the corresponding test.

During this special week devoted to medication safety take a few minutes to review some medication safety concerns and earn a few free CEUs in the process.
