City Spotlight - Baltimore vs. San Francisco!

Baltimore, Maryland: Baltimore is Maryland's largest city and economic hub, known for its beautiful harbor; quirky, distinct neighborhoods; unique museums; the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital to the east and the University of Maryland Medical Center to the west. Check out some of the area's attractions:

  • Baltimore Museum of Art, Maryland's largest art museum which features an internationally renowned collection of 19th century, modern and contemporary art. 
  •  Baltimore's National Aquarium attracts more than 1.6 million visitors per year and houses more than 16,000 creatures in their natural habitats.
  • Maryland Science Center features an IMAX theater and a planetarium

San Francisco, California:  As the fourth most populous city in California, there’s plenty for all ages to enjoy in San Francisco!  Check out some of the area's attractions:

  •   Fox Theater is the centerpiece of the Uptown Oakland District and hosts nearly 80 live concerts per year, featuring world-class artists. 
  • San Francisco Zoo, home to a variety of exotic animals. 
  • Aquarium of the Bay is San Francisco's only waterfront aquarium where you can meet 20,000 amazing marine animals.
  • Six Flags Discovery Kingdom; northern California's only combination of wildlife, oceanarium and theme park adventure. 
  •  Pier 39 is an open-air festival marketplace located on San Francisco Bay with two levels of fun-filled attractions, 110 specialty shops and 14 full-service restaurants.
  • Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a world-famous seaside amusement park that features the1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster, summer entertainment, indoor game arcades and more.
